Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of WCAG Audit, a Figma plugin created by Edicarlos Lopes ("we", "us", or "our").
By purchasing, installing, activating, or using WCAG Audit, you agree to these Terms.
Product
WCAG Audit is a design review plugin for Figma. It helps identify likely accessibility issues in Figma files, including text contrast, non-text UI contrast, typography, touch target sizing, and focus-order hints.
WCAG Audit is an assistant for design review. It does not provide legal advice, does not certify WCAG compliance, and does not replace manual accessibility testing, developer implementation review, assistive technology testing, or professional accessibility audits.
License
When you purchase WCAG Audit Pro, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Pro features of the plugin.
Unless otherwise stated on the pricing page, the license is sold as a one-time purchase for the current major version of the plugin.
You may not resell, sublicense, share, reverse engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute the plugin or license key except where allowed by applicable law.
Accounts, Activation, and License Keys
WCAG Audit Pro may require a license key, email address, or similar activation method.
You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. We may deactivate license keys that are shared publicly, resold, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is responsible for payment processing, applicable tax handling, billing receipts, and certain buyer support related to payments.
Your use of Paddle checkout may also be subject to Paddle's buyer terms, privacy notice, and refund policy.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use WCAG Audit for unlawful purposes, bypass license checks, interfere with activation systems, infringe third-party rights, or misrepresent WCAG Audit results as legal certification of accessibility compliance.
Intellectual Property
WCAG Audit, including its interface, code, branding, icons, copy, and related materials, is owned by Edicarlos Lopes or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of the plugin or related intellectual property to you.
Availability and Changes
We may improve, update, modify, or discontinue features over time. We aim to keep WCAG Audit useful and stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every issue in a design file will be detected.
Disclaimer
WCAG Audit is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee that the plugin will detect every accessibility issue, that its recommendations will be complete or error-free, or that use of the plugin will make any product legally compliant.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edicarlos Lopes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to WCAG Audit will not exceed the amount you paid for the plugin in the twelve months before the claim.
