Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Edicarlos Lopes ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use WCAG Audit.
Summary
WCAG Audit is designed to run inside Figma and analyze your design locally. The plugin reviews information from the Figma file, such as layers, text properties, colors, dimensions, and hierarchy, to generate accessibility findings. We do not sell personal data.
Information We Process
Depending on how you use the plugin, we may process Figma layer names, text properties, colors, dimensions, hierarchy, license activation information, activation status, timestamps, anonymous usage events, and error details you choose to share with us.
Design Data
WCAG Audit analyzes Figma content to produce audit results inside the plugin. Unless a feature clearly says otherwise, your Figma design content is processed locally in the plugin and is not uploaded to our servers. Pro license activation may contact our license server to validate a license key and activation status.
Analytics
WCAG Audit may send anonymous product usage events to our own domain, such as plugin opened, audit started or completed, upgrade clicked, license activated, auto-fix used, and export downloaded. These analytics events do not include Figma file names, page names, layer names, node IDs, text content, exported reports, license keys, or audit results.
Our website also uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and purchase funnel events, such as checkout clicks and license generation attempts. Google Analytics may process usage information such as pages visited, approximate location, device/browser information, referral information, and interaction events according to Google's own privacy terms.
Payments
Payments are processed by Buy Me a Coffee. Buy Me a Coffee may collect billing details, payment information, tax information, and transaction records according to Buy Me a Coffee's own terms and privacy notice. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide WCAG Audit functionality, activate and verify Pro licenses, prevent license abuse, provide customer support, improve plugin reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the product, such as payment processing, license validation, hosting, email, or customer support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
Retention
We keep license and transaction-related records for as long as needed to provide the product, support purchases, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. To make a privacy request, contact: edicarlos.lds@gmail.com
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
WCAG Audit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
